How to track state cannabis rule changes across CA, OR, MA, IL, NJ and NY

Cannabis regulation is fragmented by state, and each regulator publishes in its own place and format. There is no federal feed to fall back on. Here is where the six states RegPing covers actually post changes.

Why this is hard to do by hand
- Only some regulators offer RSS; the rest require checking a web page.
- Bulletins are often numbered but not dated consistently.
- A rule change may appear first as a proposed rulemaking with a comment window and only later as an adopted rule — both matter, at different times.
- Enforcement announcements (license suspensions, illegal-operation shutdowns) tell you where the regulator's attention is, even if your license is not involved.
What a multi-state operator should monitor
- Rulemaking in every state you hold a license — proposals and adoptions.
- Licensing announcements — application windows, renewal changes, fee changes.
- Enforcement — patterns (packaging, testing, advertising) that predict inspections.
- Bulletins and guidance — the operational details (labeling, METRC/tracking changes) that trip up compliance audits.
Centralizing it
